Debut

Entering into the world of blogging I must warn any and all potential followers that I am a procrastinator and a night owl so more than likely any and all post will be after most people have gone to bed. However this just means you can wake up and get on the computer check the morning news and then just flip on over to my blog to see what went on in my life the previous day because you are obviously so interested and concerned.

After that short disclaimer Ill say that the purpose of this blog is to focus on all my outdoor adventures, but mainly mountain biking. I didn't make it a purely mountain biking blog because from time to time i will inevitably ramble about golf, skiing, hiking, fishing, or hunting. Mainly though as I said i will be discussing mountain biking including my first year of racing, training, rides, trail building and any products related to the afore mentioned topics.

To open I will say that I am a Senior at Campbell University and the current President of the Campbell Club Cycling Team. This as i said is my first year of racing mountain bikes competitively . I have already competed in the 6 Hours of Warrior Creek and am in the mist of the Charlotte Summer Series which is a series every Wednesday night in various venues around Charlotte. All of this is leading up to the start of the collegiate racing series this fall that I will compete in as a member of Campbell's Cycling Team.

Also on the list to discuss is my progress on the trail I am in the midst of constructing behind the house (Pics coming soon).

All in all ill try to keep the post brief and interesting though that may be a challenge as I am an aspiring lawyer so i do tend to ramble.

That is all....

  1. You didn't ramble too much in this one, however I will say that I would like a few blogs on golfing and fishing. As a avid fisherman I would like to know what kind of fishing you do regularly and how many and what size the fish are.

  2. There will certainly be reports in the future. Though all my tackle was stolen off the back of my truck a few months back i will not be deterred. I know that in july I have a charter boat in New York booked and a possible trip to the outer banks in june...so thats something to look forward to.
