Collegiate Season is upon us...

So I know its been almost a month since my last post and for that I have no excuse but to say that I am now in the midst of my senior year at Campbell U and between homework and running a cycling team some things must be placed on the back burner.

Anyway preparations for collegiate mtb season has went fairly well. First we received our jerseys this week.

And although we missed our first conference race at virginia tech last weekend we will forgo our conference race this weekend to instead race out of conference at Lees Mcrae College in Banner Elk, NC.

Im not sure how well the course will suit my style of riding this weekend so im not expecting to much as far as results go. None the less Im looking forward to getting back out to the races and seeing if the long hours I spent on the bike this summer has helped any.

Kinda a side thought this weekend I was able to get away from the stress a little on labor day. The woman and I headed up the mountain to Mt Jefferson State park for a little hike and just some relaxation.

Look for a race report next week. Hopefully I can at least find time to let yall know how the race weekends go as we will be competeing the next four weekends in a row.
