Back from the big city...

Well I intended to have a nice little write up to tell you all id be gone all last week so you wouldnt be checking your computer 28 times per day to see if I had posted yet but as you can see that didnt happen.

Alot of fun exploring the city on Wednesday, hangin on the beach thursday and friday and then partying at the reception on saturday. You can check my facebook for all the pics if your really interested.

I saw all the sites in the city possible in a 12 your period including the NYSE and the big bull I missed last trip. Thursday I received 3rd degree sun burn on the beach to make me look like an Indian for justins wedding on satuday. Friday was really cool we drove two hours to the tip of long Island where Montauk Beach is located. We went through the hamptons which was neat to see all the Mercedes and even a Lamborghini driving down the street. However when we got to the surf casting capital of the world which Mantauk claims it was probably one of the pretiest beaches I have ever sat on. We didnt catch anything because its just not the time of the year for any real surf fishing however we did see some guys who had caught a 30inch striper. In the fall of the year though this beach will be shoulder to shoulder with guys in waders reeling in striper as fast as they can. The wedding itself was nice and the reception was unreal at the surf club.

On the way back from the wedding we stopped by a two story bike shop I had seen the day before. Still in our tuxedos we walked around looking when I heard someone say "you know I think we just might have a bike to match your outfit" then i tuned to see a guy who I assumed worked there. We talked to the for a while and they seemed like real nice guys and it certainly was a very nice shop.

Now that Im back its back to some serious training to try to get in a little better shap for my next planned race on July 28th.
